They are not the genuine reflection of God's message of love and redemption. Yet, they have found a place in some corners of our faith, causing confusion, pain, and lasting trauma.   Remember, dear ones, our faith is built upon the rock-solid foundation of Biblical truth, characterised by God's enduring love, His infinite mercy, and His divine justice. Any doctrine that strays from these principles is not of God. When we encounter such teachings, it can lead to confusion, doubt, and even spiritual trauma. In our world today, fraught with challenges and divisions, it is upon us as followers of Jesus Christ to foster genuine love – even when we are not extended the same in return. We should know about the evil of marginalisation and stigma, for our history was founded upon being marginalised and persecuted.   We saw how our Saviour looked upon such people with grace and love. In the Gospel of John, 4:1-42, we learn of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well. Here was a woman from a group despised by the Jews, marginalized and stigmatized by society. God, in His infinite wisdom and love, moulded each one of us meticulously and deliberately, including our genders, that they serve as a reflection of His glory and greatness.   It is important to remember that God does not make mistakes. He, in His divine wisdom, created us as men or women, and each one of us has a specific purpose to fulfil. It is about the sexual thoughts and feelings that we, as human beings, naturally experience. There is a tendency among many of us, especially those of us who are deeply committed to our faith, to feel guilt or shame when we encounter these thoughts and feelings.   First, let me affirm that sexual thoughts and feelings are a natural part of being human. God, in all His wisdom and love, made us sexual beings. He designed us to desire physical and emotional intimacy, to long for companionship and to find beauty in others. It is the eternal dance of good and evil, the perpetual equilibrium between light and darkness, the ceaseless struggle between virtue and vice. This dichotomy is as old as existence itself, as intrinsic to our human nature as breathing.   The Holy Scriptures, our map to navigate this complex world, provide us with explicit instructions. 2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness .   In our world we are often pressured to be perfect, to do everything right, to make no mistakes. We are taught that to err is to fail, and failure is something we should fear. However, brethren, this notion is not of God, but of the world.   God knows our flaws and that our spirit is willing but the flesh is weak (Matthew 26:41). He is not asking us to be perfect, rather, He is asking us to rely on His perfect strength. Even in our weakness, God's grace is sufficient for us. John 10:17-18 I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.   I feel blessed and honoured to share with you a thought that might have passed your hearts at one point or another. This thought is about feeling personally responsible for Christ's death. Let us read together from the book of Romans, Chapter 5, Verse 8: " But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ."   The depths of this scripture unveil to us the essence of Christ's death - a sacrifice made while we were yet sinners.
